Looking for a sponsor I am a student from India looking forward to studying at a California Community College in Spring 2010 after which I shall transfer, with priority admission, to a prestigious University of California. I study under the British pattern of education. I have done my GCE 'O' levels in May/June 2008 and achieved the following grades- English Language: A Mathematics: B Economics: B Bengali: B Business Studies: A My GPA, according to " http://www.cie.org.uk/docs/recognition/Calculating%20GPAs%20for%20IGCSE.pdf " is 3.82 on a scale of 4.0. I shall sit a few more O-levels in November 2009 in order to further improve my GPA. I have also done my GCE 'AS' levels (Advanced Credits) in the following subjects- Psychology Economics Mathematics with Statistics (The grades are pending). My extracurricular and academic achievements include- Purple stripe belt in Karate. Student reporter of a popular newspaper of the country. All round achiever in school ( received certificate and prize). Involved with the school magazine. Community service. Participation in inter-school quizzes, competitions, debates,etc. Class Topper Topper in Economics English is my first language. I am looking for a sponsor who could finance my education at least for the first year of college. The tuition and accommodation costs sum up to as little as $15000-18000.
