Jolene's Horse Rescue started in Chatsworth California USA as advocates against Horse slaughter in the Western part of the USA, mainly Arizona were the majority of the abuses took place. We have assisted in rescuing well over 2,500 horses to date as May 2009 and have adopted out over 777 horses that have been placed in good and loving homes.
