"The CHoice of a Friend" "The CHoice of a Friend" is a book on sexuality and relationships, relating to child development, adolescent delinquence, and the effect of peer pressure, even extending to marriage, from an African perspective. The book is inn two parts; the first part narrates the story of the life of an orphan, village churchboy, and how he finally overcomes the attractions of the mordern civilised urban society to settle down in a perfect marital life. Part Two is a practical lesson on choosing friends and building relationships, as well as how to avoid negataive influence and survive the overwhelming nature of sexual desires in youth. I began writing this book from year 2000 in my second year in Secondary school, and completed it in 2006, but since than have not had sponsorship for the publishing. Here in Cameroon, book publishing for the volume of work I have written costs atleast 500000 CFAF, about 1000 dollars. I am open to any well wisher who may be inrested to support a child writer.
